PRESS RELEASE
In order to establish actions that encourage and facilitate the full incorporation of women in social and cultural life of our state of Sonora as well as in Mexico, a group of young creators, academics and intellectuals of the state of Sonora, invites all women aware of their role in incorporating plural and equitable Sonoran cultural activities at the First Meeting of Writers in Sonora, with the title "Women in Ink."
We start from the indisputable fact that all human beings are creative.
This meeting will give us a chance to see a broad and a specific sample of what is literary and artistic production of women in our region.
The First Meeting of Writers is an event organized by students of the School of Arts at the University as well as graduates of the same: we welcome their support to the institution, and we are working with this also the slogan of bringing the University into the street.
The readings will be held on Thursday 14 April from 14:00 pm to 21:00 pm in the Cultural Forum Los Jarritos, located on September 16 and San Luis PotosÃ, Colonia 5 May.
