In recognition of his dedication and sacrifice in defense of democracy, the government handed over to the relatives of 12 of the 24 police officers killed last year in Bagua the records of seismic homeownership in The project Doral Torreblanca, Carabayllo. The delivery was made today at the Project Room at the Ministry of Housing, attended the holder of the sector, Juan Sarmiento, as well as Interior Minister, Octavio Salazar, among other officials of both ministries.
Sarmiento expressed his satisfaction over the recognition to 12 police heroes, and recalled that as a child he spent his holidays in police stations of El Carmen in Chincha, and Guadalupe, Ica, along with his relatives who were members of the National Police.
"It's a great satisfaction to serve with a double bonus of Techo Propio to the families of policemen who died defending democracy", he said, after stating that at least two of the relatives will have a formal job.
For its part, the holder of the Interior stated that the relatives of fallen officers are not being given anything because the sacrifice did they deserve to have their children inherit decent housing, and acknowledged the sensitivity of the housing sector to respond with speed recognition.
The same benefit was achieved by the relatives of four policemen killed in raids in the forest Pómac in Lambayeque and San Jose, SECC in Ayacucho.
